I decided to try a wellness coach because I thought I knew what I should be doing, but I wasn’t doing it. I was feeling stuck in place and unable to move forward with anything in life. Mary helped me figure out what I really needed, and what I didn’t. She made me realize I don’t have to do EVERYTHING at once. I can concentrate on one thing at a time until I’m comfortable with that one thing in my life and then move on to the next thing. She also helped me to understand why I was doing some things, which helped me to stop doing things that bothered me and start doing things I was resisting (but wanted to do).
I have learned some techniques for relaxation, that I can do in just 5 minutes, whenever I’m feeling especially stressed. I’ve learned to determine what it is I really want to do and then set reasonable, concrete, goals to achieve it. I’ve also learned that sometimes it can really help to talk out what your inner voice is telling you that you want, because maybe what you were telling yourself is different from what you really need. Lastly, I’ve learned that sometimes just speaking to someone who is positive and friendly and looking out for your best interests can change your entire day.
I hope you decide to work with Mary. She’s a wonderful coach and she can help you change your life.
